SURFACE PRE TREATMENT

Cleaning / Washing Plants

Cleaning plants for pre- and after-treatment of goods applying special processes such as:

  • Hydrosonic
  • Ultrasonic

These make the items free of contamination to ensure quality of subsequent processes.

Degreasing

Chamber degreasing plants for bulk material and individual pieces, designed for different requirements:

  • Universal continuous-flow plants for small and large parts
  • Vacuum distillation plants
  • Combination with bath care units
  • Vacuum evaporator, oil skimmer, centrifuges, micro or ultra-filtration

Where degreasing is followed by drying, convection hot air or vacuum drying is used.

Pickling

Pickling plants suitable for cleaning, de-scaling, phosphating and bonder lubrication of steel components, including steam heating coils, transporting system, fresh air blower and fume exhaust system.

Typical sequence:

  1. Pickling in 10 to 15% dilute sulphuric acid for 20 to 30 minutes
  2. Cold water rinsing for 5 minutes
  3. Phosphating for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Cold water rinsing for 5 to 10 minutes
  5. Bonder lubrication for 10 to 15 minutes

SURFACE FINISHING

Phosphating Plants

Phosphating plants for pre-treatment for organic coatings like powder coating, lacquers, rubber-metal connections, zinc flake coatings.

Typically an 8-tank sequence:

  1. Degreasing
  2. Cold water washing
  3. Hot water tank
  4. De-rusting tank
  5. Cold water washing
  6. Phosphating
  7. Cold water washing
  8. Accilite bath

Anodizing Plants

Anodizing plants used for anodic oxidation of metal surfaces for corrosion protection.

Spray Painting

Global Engineers has supplied 25+ fully automatic conveyorised airless/air type "Gun" spray painting plants for all typical painting processes including:

  • Masking, lettering, de-masking, and spot filling (manual)

Liquid Coating

Complete paint kitchen system for paint transfer and regulation, including pneumatic paint transfer pumps.
